Major Bantam Wildcats Finalize Roster!
2016-09-08The Kings Mutual Valley Wildcats are excited to announce the 19 players that will make up this years team. The 2016-2017 roster consists of 2 goaltenders, 7 defencemen and 10 forwards. There are 10 players returning from last years team to go along with 9 first year Wildcats. 17 of our players are born in 2002, while 2 are born in 2003. The coaching staff is very excited about working with this group of players to help them achieve their goals.
Goaltenders:
Once again this year, our two goaltenders are Seth Routledge & Grant Sanford. Both of these guys had successful first seasons in the league last year and are looking to build on that success this year and become one of the top goaltending tandems in the league.
Defence:
5 of our 7 defencemen on this year team are returning players. Cameron Whynot, Brent Levy, Nathan Walton, Brett Reeves & Aidan Clarke all played important roles on last years team and their skill and experience will be a big factor in our success this year. Newcomers Kyle Corbin & Dawson Balsor provide size and puck moving ability that will be very valuable to our team.
Forwards:
Returning players Blake Deacon, Joe Parsons & Jon Forsyth all put up solid numbers as first year players last season. They will be joined by Connor Deluney & Max Longmire who both played games as AP's last year, as well as Colby Ramsey, Dylan Schofield, Owen Stockdale, Zachary Godbout & Colin Parker. The coaches like the mix of skill, size, speed, and grit on this years team and are excited to watch these players grow and develop.
