Wildcats Golf Tournament a Success!

Over 140 Golfers take part in 5th Annual Valley Wildcats Golf Classic
The Valley Wildcat organization held their 5th Annual Golf Classic this past Friday at the Berwick Heights Golf Course.
There were 38 teams, consisting of over 140 golfers. What started out as an overcast and windy day, ended up being a sunny and successful day for the Wildcats. There was a tie between two teams, who earned bragging rights for the next 365 days. Healy Financial Team and Don Rawding Team both shot a 58, 14 under to share the title as champions.
There were also a few celebrities who took part in the tournament. Most notably was Joe DiPenta, who won a Stanley Cup with the Anaheim Ducks in 2007. There was also a Liam Heelis sighting, the 2013-14 CIS Player of the Year from the Acadia Axemen Men's Hockey team. Former Wildcat players, and current QMJHL players, Nic Blanchard, Brandon Whitney, and Grant Janes also played in the tournament.
The Wildcats would also like to thank Blue Wave Energy for being the main sponsor for the tournament.
